Why get a basic baby crib when you can get one that's so much more. There are many types of cribs that come with "the works". This could include a changing table; trundle drawer; built in cabinet; desk and some can even split into two chairs cafter the baby phase. Now that's amazing!
By acquiring one of these amazing cribs you can save space in the nursery and keep money in your pocket. There's no need to spend extra money on an entire changing table if the crib has one attached. You're about to discover some of today's most incredible baby cribs that are so much more than just slumber space for your precious angel.

1. Convertible Baby Cribs
You may have heard the term "convertible crib" but weren't quite sure what that meant. It's a term used to describe baby cribs that can convert to bigger beds. Through toddler years you can convert the crib to a toddler bed or day bed. Through teen years you can convert the crib to a twin or full size bed. The fact that you pay one price and get 2 to 4 beds makes these cribs a great investment. Convertible baby cribs all offer different types of conversions. A convertible crib can also save you time since you'll never need to buy your child another bed...ever! A few of my favorite convertible cribs are listed below.
DaVinci Kalani Convertible Crib
This is a beautiful and well-built crib that converts to a toddler bed and a full size bed. To convert to a toddler bed you simply get rid of the front rail and replace it with the toddler rail. (toddler rail is usually included) For the full size conversion you'll use the crib's head/footboard, plus full size conversion rails and full size mattress. (mattress and rail are usually sold separately)
Modern Baby Letto Modo 3 in 1 baby crib
This crib is a modern beauty and will add contemporary flair to any nursery with its gorgeous style and chic finishes. It's also designed to remain looking stylish when used in later years in a toddler and teen's room. This crib converts to a toddler bed and full-size bed. For the full-size conversion you can use the crib's head/footboard on full size rails. The rails are generally sold separately.
2. Baby Cribs with Attached Changing Table
Cribs with attached changing tables are great space savers. Some come with a minute changing station that attaches on top or off the rail. Others come with a full changing station with storage below that attaches to the side. Either way, you'll love the convenience of having a changing table that close to the crib. Below are a few of my favorites!
Berg Furniture Oslo Crib with Changer
This crib is quite modern and very convenient. Not only will it look amazing in the nursery, but you can get a small changing table that attaches right to the side rail of the crib. The changing station comes with a drawer for storing all your diapering essentials. This combo is a great space saver!
Sorelle Tuscany Crib and Changer
Absolutely gorgeous is the best way to describe this crib and changing combo. As far as baby cribs go this is top class. Both crib and changer offer quality workmanship and the changer is attached to the crib's side for ease of use. The changing station comes with three drawers in front and shelves in back for optimal storage. Through toddler and teen years you can detach the changer and keep it around for storage space.
3. Play Yards that come with Bassinets and Changing Stations
A play yard is portable and can be used in many ways. I consider this one of the most must-have baby items on the market. A play yard can be used as sleep space, play space and diaper changing space. You can also take the play yard on trips, so your baby has a familiar sleep and play space to make traveling with baby easier. Many play yards also come with "the works" including a bassinet and changing station. Play yards can fold up easily and be moved from room to room or home to home. Below are a few amazing play yards that come with everything you need for baby's comfort and your convenience.
Foundations Celebrity Play Yard Crib with Bassinet
As far as portable baby cribs go this is a winner. This endearing play yard has mesh sides for baby visibility and a lush pad to make naps and play time comfy. It folds easily, so you can move it around the house or take it on trips with little effort. It comes with a bassinet that attaches to the top rails. You can use this bassinet when your baby is little to keep him/her is a smaller, more cozy spot. Use the main area for a secure play spot or sleep space when your child is a little older.
Dream on Me Full Size Play Yard with Bassinet & Changer
This play yard has it all. It offers a bassinet for when your baby is smaller, plus a changing station for safe diaper and clothes changes. It also has a wide base for plenty of play space that's surrounded with mesh so you can see baby and baby can see you. It even comes with side pocket and toy bar for storage and entertainment.
4. Wild and Unique Baby Cribs
If you're looking for baby cribs that are truly unique and offer even more than just a changing station with sleep space, you'll want to check these out!
Stokke Sleepi Crib
Believe it or not, this modern crib with a simple, yet chic design doesn't just convert to a toddler bed. It can also be used as two chairs after your child has outgrown the bed. The two ends can be split apart and turned into two rolling chairs that your child can love for years. Now that's really unique!
Nurseryworks Studio Crib
I left the best for last. This crib isn't just absolutely gorgeous with a modern design in a two-tone finish. It also offers amazing modern conveniences that are hidden until you need them. This crib comes with a hidden cabinet, changing table and changing pad that can be used as a desk when your child is older. It also offers a bottom drawer for extra storage. This crib gets the award for being the crib of all baby cribs because of its classy design, ultra-cool features and amazing convenience.
